the vast beautiful ventilator

This place is not a new to me... I used to come here whenever possible... But this time it is different, Everything is different... this place is the end of the world! for me, Whenever i return from this place, i feel like i vented out all my feelings. I return like a new soul...
This place is nothing but a Beach... yeah! for me this is the end of the world, i see no land from the place i stand... i guess u too!
Not in the late afternoon... in the beach far from the city, i stand in the elevated shore, leaving the sun behind me... looking straight to the water, the end of the world... my shadow stretched to touch the sea water that tries to reach the shore...
I stand still, looking at nothing but a blue painted clear sky, and the vast surface of water that reflects the fellow sky... the sea water rolled towards me but drained back without touching me...
Looking to my left, i find my friends playing... far from me. I find none near!... no one for quite a good distance...
Feeling the breeze from the sea i bend myself to sit on the shore... sitting, my hand start to wave the sand...
Taking a hand full of sand, i start to count them... soon i lost the count, its impossible...No! its not impossible, its possible... but its infinity... endless! This is how my love for you is... its infinity, endless! i told showing the sand to the sea...
The sound of the waves and the breeze pretends like answering me in joy... Happy that U understood me...
I started to shout out my feel for everything... from my family to my job... all about my love for them to hectic job that kick me... about everything in my life... i vented out my feel...
Pretty soon... everything is fine, everything in my life...
I stand to walk back to my friends, smiling at the sea... singing to myself...
and there hE stand! smiling at me and not far from me... this man, i know him very well, close by heart... surprise to see him... he could have heard me?!?! before i get the answer, he started to move far from me, in opposite direction... leaving the foot prints...

Chennai & the giant long steel beast

Is there anyone in this world who don't like to enjoy the view from train window?... i remember the days when i waved my hands to the giant trains standing in the level crossing. Not only me, many in this hot humid city will remember their childhood days in small towns and villages waiting for the trains to trains. Train is always special. It is comfortable, you can pass through lot of sub urban, can see lot of small huts moving behind you, lot of temples and panchayat trees, sometimes cities with large buildings etc ... also you can make new friends, train friends.
MRTS in chennai... one of my favourite mode of transport here... i prefer train than bus or bike... i can reach my destination early without getting fried up in hot sun, traffic, air and noise pollution... Chennai without MRTS!!! i would have hated it...
I love electric trains here, not only because it is comfortable... but it has something more than that... may be because it carries thousands and thousands of hearts in it... Most of my days in Chennai moved with/in train... days started in train and ended too... I not only enjoyed the views through the window, i enjoyed seeing the people inside too...
there are lot in the train, the people and their souls...
the gang of elder people, hopefully they should be train friends (sometimes i heard them speaking about the train travelers association) who chat and enjoy like college guys, the elder ladies singing bajjans, the guy who wear a watch like mine and his smile whenever he see me, the girl who travel reading her CA book, the tiny girl who travel with her guitar, the old man looking tired of his life, strict fathers, loving mothers, pregnant wives, loving husbands, exhausted man, happy going lovers, loving couples, small kids, school going childrens, boys, beautiful girls, vendors, blind people selling card covers, beggars... and many to add in the list... those faces carry smile, tears, tiredness, joy, satisfaction, love, lust, jealous, proud etc...
There are really thousands of characters and souls and people who rush for their life and aim... i feel happy to be one among them... they taught me something daily but they don't know that, sometimes even i don't know. But they teach me to live life, fight for life, enjoy life...
Sometimes when i happened to travel at mid day, the first class in the train will be physically empty... but it carries thousands of souls on it... hundreds of love with their names, proposals from boys for his girl, the names of boys gangs, girls gang too, fake phone numbers, posters for jobs and real estates, sketches and lot more scribblings...
a quote from my dairy that i saw in the train...
"i want to live in ur eyes, i want to die in ur arm, and to burried in ur heart"...

I saw an old man, who traveled from Trisulam(airport) to Egmore carrying his luggage straight from the airport. He cherished his old memories, he traveled in the trains during his college life before 25 years. He felt happy to travel in the train after 25 years.. getting back into his memories. Also i remember another old man, who advised me to give up drinking soft drinks and to drink only fresh juice.

Tambaram station is one of my favorite place in Chennai. If u had read my previous blog posts then you can guess y! if not you will know soon...

sometimes i happened to see corpse on the track...

This giant long steel beast has many stories carrying with it... and i read those...

love,
danny.

Chennai and me

Sometimes! you will never know that the place you are heading to will be your favorite place in your lifetime. My first visit to Chennai, the Madraspattinam had nothing special to make a bond between me and the city. In fact, i hate the place then. When i reached Egmore, i felt i was forced into a city of robbers, the city of pollution, the city of sun in all seasons, the city of traffic... i saw robbers in every head that moved in the platform and in every strange looks... the coolies, the railway employees, the vendors, even the passengers! and no maters where they are from. I was not aware then that the day gonna be a memorable day. yeah! the bond between me and the city started there...
My first day in the city drove me to experience the hell. That was another fresh new day for Chennai. The station was busy but i was busy guarding my baggage. The road outside the station was more crowded than inside the station. People rushing to their destinations for their work. People! people! people! everywhere... in buses, tea stalls, telephone booths, hotels and everywhere...
Everything and anything about chennai made me mad then... the crowded buses, the hot sun, the humidity that brings out the human sweat, the traffic, signals, noise and air pollution, strange people, worst roads, those colored faces of politicians on walls, those people urinating on corner walls, language/slang...
i was heading back from Chennai, i decided not to visit Chennai in my life again... not even for a day!
But today! After 8 full years... i feel i can't be out of Chennai for a day, not even for a day! Chennai is now my best place on earth. The city of beach that wakes up for coffee, the beach, the people, the travel in sub urban trains, the crowds, buses, flyovers, statues of leaders, theaters, malls, the seasonal rains, the temples and churches, aroma of coffee, pallavaram mount, burger man's burger, sweet pongal at murugan idly, landmark and food court at spencer plaza, music world, tambaram station, aazraya, Chennai sangamam etc etc etc... many sweet experiences, memorable too and few bitter...

Some taught me about life... in a line - Chennai changed my life...

i was planning to write about Chennai and i start from here today!... I will write more about chennai, my experience here, memorable incidence, people and all about chennai!

they will follow this post soon with hope that you will enjoy :)
